The San Bernardo Islands

This archipelago of eleven islands, also part of National Rosario and San Bernardo Coral Nature Park, is forty nautical miles from Cartagena de Indias, with its crystal clear waters and white sands is another remote hideaway for serious nature lovers.

A broad variety of birds and marine life make these tropical forest and mangrove ecosystems their home, and as humans have discovered, it’s a perfect place to relax and commune with nature.

Diving and fishing (bonefish, barracuda, mackerel, marlin, and sailfish) are allowed, but  jet-skis and other motor sports are prohibited in order to protect the environment.
